ABOUT


The Critical National Infrastructure Authority (CNIA) is the government authority tasked with handling the protection and security of Abu Dhabi’s vital assets and infrastructure. Established in May 2007, under the Presidential decree issued by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, CNIA works to secure Abu Dhabi’s infrastructure and promote economic stability. Working with other government security forces, CNIA takes all necessary precautions to obstruct and prevent any destructive actions by hostile forces which may have a damaging effect on Abu Dhabi’s well-being.
